September 26th

  • 12th grade college workshop: College workshop for seniors. Fill out the common application and help build college list.

 

October 10th

  • 12th grade College Essay Workshop: UC & Common Application Essay brainstorming and essay tips and strategies.

 

November 14tH      

  • Coping with Stress and Anxiety: Identifying sources of stress, healthy coping strategies, reducing stress, setting goals.  

 

November 28th

  • 9-12th Exploring Strengths: personality assessment, career search, and explore strengths.

 

January 19th

  • 9-12th Grade: Summer leadership/camp opportunities. Plan early! Learn about the different programs and places to look for the summer opportunities. Summer camp deadlines are in the early spring.

 

February 27th

  • 9-12th The Compound Effect Workshop: Based on the material from the Darren Hardy's book, The Compound Effect. Take life assessments, goal designing, habit rhythm planning. “Choices are at the root of every one of your results. Each choice starts a behavior that over time becomes a habit.”

 

March 27th

  • 10-11th Building your college list: What factors to consider when choosing a college, college search tools, narrowing down your list.

 

April 3rd

  • College Unraveled Presentation: For Students and parents of any grade level. Learn what colleges are looking for, what you should look for in a college, how to build your resume, etc.
